The Freebie Industry has inevitably and completely crumbled. FreeLunchRoom.com has been shut down, many, if not, all, of the freebie sites have been taken down whose domains are up for sale.
The Free iPod Guide is still around but not for the same reasons.
The era has ended, many people made a lot of money while others took a loss - mostly the big companies that sponsored it. Fraud was probably the reason for its death.

Free iPod Guide
Along with FreeLunchRoom, FreeIpodGuide.com is a website where you can get in touch with people in the Freebie World. You can post a thread in there or in FLR (Free Lunch Room) for people to contact you about a "trade."
Which leads me into my next point....the Freebie Lingo:
There are a few terms you would have to know but will take very little time to pick up-
FreeLunchRoom has a very nice tutorial which I will post in here:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PM = Personal Message. They are very similar to emails and accessible on the site you sign up
TR = Trade RatingEvery time you complete a trade (whether you’re on the paying or receiving end), you will receive 1 TR point.
THREAD = A thread is sort of like an email. Every time you send a new email…it’s like posting a new thread. Every time you reply to an email…it’s like replying to a thread. When someone says, “Try to keep it in one thread” what they mean is don’t keep clicking “NEW TOPIC” every time you want to respond to a thread. In a nutshell, every time you click the “NEW TOPIC” button you are creating a new thread (i.e. email). If you are reading a thread and want to reply to it…use the
BUMP = Bring Up My Post…every time you BUMP a post that you have written in the forums, it will automatically bring it up to the top spot (under the “Announcements” and “Sticky” threads). You must either click POST REPLY or use the QUICK REPLY box (at the bottom of every page) in the thread you want to BUMP.
PAID ON GREEN = You will receive your payment once you are GREEN. All sites have a box near the top of the page that will say, "CONGRATULATIONS! You have met the offer requirements!" as soon are you are 100% green.
PAID ON APPROVAL = You will receive your payment once the other trader's site has been APPROVED for payment.
PAID ON PAYOUT or CASHOUT = You will receive your payment once the other trader has RECEIVED his/her prize.
GONE YELLOW = You’ve signed up (been referred) to the site, but haven’t yet completed any offers.
GONE GREEN = You’ve signed up (been referred) and completed the required amount of offers on the site. This is when you will see the "CONGRATULATIONS! You have met the offer requirements!" message.“In order to go green for someone, all you need to do is complete your offer requirements after you've signed up under their referral link. You DO NOT need to complete the referral requirements.”
GONE RED/GREY - DQ'd = DISQUALIFIED - PUT ON HOLD = “You have violated one or more of the site’s terms and conditions.” The following is some great info posted by wookie0611:
Quote:
If you violated any terms of service (tos) you will go red. If you use fraudulent info when signing up, you will go red. If you complete the same offer more than once you will go red. If your computer is runnin proxies you will go red (aol and netzero are proxy users!) If you sign up for an offer and cancel right away you will go red. Also, as with the offers, you can only register at each site once, there are sites that have more than one in their network. For example, if you sign up at gamingmonster.net you are also allowed to sign up at LCDmonster.net
REFERRAL LINK = The link a trader needs you to click on in order to get credit for his referral. It will look something like this:http://the.name.of.the.site.com/?referral=1234
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You don't have to stress over memorizing them, they come in time. =]
These sites you sign up for, you may ask, are like the ones below:
ZeroPriceTags.com
Wish4Free.com
AllFreebieWorld.com
If you notice, all of the sites listed above have different parts to their site. You may sign up on each part of a website. For example, Zeropricetags.com has the following sites:
Bonus.ZeroPricetags
Cash.ZeroPricetags
DIY.ZeroPricetags
DoubleCash.ZeroPricetags
Gadgets.ZeroPricetags
Games.ZeroPricetags
Giftcards.ZeroPricetags
Gifts.ZeroPricetags
Laptops.ZeroPricetags
Phones.ZeroPricetags
Plasmas.ZeroPricetags.com
The main difference between the websites is the "prizes" that they give out when you receive the required number of referrals. All of the sites, however, give out cash, so if you're not interested in getting a plasma tv from the website, you can still get cash, which is just as good as money! (Allusion to a Yogi Berra quote for all of you Yankee Fans)
Anyway, post comments anytime and I will reply in detail to anything you need. Good luck!

Project PayDay
In case you haven't heard, there actually is a way for you to make money online. No scams... no paying for a pointless E-Book, and best of all, you can work whenever you have free time-no obligation!
Here's how:
Go to ProjectPayDay.com
Review some of the tutorials and then make an account on FreeLunchRoom.com
What you are doing is helping people. You are helping people get something that they want very much but they cannot get it without you. I have been doing this since June 2007, and I have made thousands, yes....thousands of dollars.
No, you will not become rich. However, you will be on your way to paying your car insurance, phone bills, and more depending on how much time you put into this.
"The Freebie World" is basically a big business where a bunch of websites link you to other sites where you purchase a free trial. The sites you buy from, in the hopes that you will become a customer, will pay down the line until it reaches you. You only have to pay $2.99 shipping on most of them, but you get paid back many times what you spend. You can spend $5 and get paid back $25. Normally, this is the case.
I will be providing more details in the future, along with some of my sites so I can help introduce you into The Freebie World easily, and honestly.
You do not have to pay for ANYTHING, to learn how start making money. Simply read the information on the website provided, and stay tuned here for updates and details on how to participate in this business. Once you're informed about what it is you have to do, you're set.
It is mandatory that you have a PayPal account. If you don't know what this is, it's a very trusted website where you can link your bank account up to, and pay people with your account, debit and credit cards, and with money that you have made already. Bank transfers to and from your paypal account are completely free.
